LotPilot Inc does not sell personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with (the dealer you contact + a short list of named service providers), and how to exercise your rights under U.S. state privacy laws.

This Privacy Policy explains how LotPilot Inc ("LotPilot," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website, products, or services (collectively, the "Services"). LotPilot Inc is a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business in the United States. By using our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
A. Information you provide. When you use our Services, create an account, or contact us, we may collect:
B. Automatically collected. When you visit our website or use our platform, we automatically collect:
C. From third parties. We may receive business data or contact details from:
We use the information we collect to:
We never sell personal information to third parties.
We may share information with:
All partners are required to handle your data securely and only for permitted purposes.
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to analyze site traffic and performance, remember preferences and login sessions, and personalize user experiences and marketing. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for the full table of categories and durations.
Meta Pixel & Conversion Tracking: LotPilot uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on every page to measure ad campaign effectiveness and to deliver relevant marketing on Facebook and Instagram. The pixel sets first-party cookies — including a random measurement identifier we generate to recognize your browser across visits — and records page views, button clicks, and form submissions. When you submit a form, your name, phone, and email are one-way hashed in your browser(via Meta's Advanced Matching) before being used for ad matching; we never pass your raw contact details into the pixel. On anonymous browsing we pass no name, phone, or email at all. After you submit a form, we store the one-way hashed version of your email and phone in a first-party cookie for up to 90 days so later measurement events can be matched to the same person; only the irreversible hash is stored, never your raw details, and the value is removed when you send a Global Privacy Control signal. California residents can opt out of this sharing via our Do Not Sell My Info page, and browsers that send the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal are honored automatically.
Meta Conversions API (Server-Side): In addition to the browser Pixel, LotPilot mirrors certain events (such as which vehicle pages you view) server-to-server to the Meta Conversions API. This is the same measurement signal as the browser Pixel, but sent from our servers so attribution survives ad blockers. For anonymous browsing, these server-side events include only your IP address, browser user-agent, the Meta Pixel cookies (_fbp and _fbc), and the coarse location of the vehicle you're viewing (city, state, ZIP, country — one-way hashed) as a general regional signal — no name, phone, or email. When you voluntarily submit a form (financing application, test-drive booking, contact request), we send a one-way SHA-256 hashed copy of the data you typed (email, phone, name) directly to Meta so they can match the lead to a Facebook account for advertising optimization. The hashing happens on your device before any of it leaves your browser — Meta receives only the digest and cannot decrypt it back to your raw info. We never transmit unhashed personal information, and a unique event_id is shared between the browser Pixel and the server event so Meta deduplicates them and we do not double-count. You can opt out by disabling third-party cookies in your browser, using a content blocker like uBlock Origin, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal — all are honored.
OpenAI Ads (ChatGPT) Pixel & Conversions API: LotPilot also uses the OpenAI Ads pixel to measure the effectiveness of ads shown in ChatGPT. The pixel sets a first-party cookie (__oppref) that records whether you arrived from a ChatGPT ad, and we mirror the same conversion events server-to-server to OpenAI's Conversions API using a shared event_id for deduplication. We do not send your name, phone, or email to OpenAI. You can opt out the same ways listed above (block cookies, use a content blocker, or send a Global Privacy Control signal).
LotPilot uses TikTok's Content Posting API to publish vehicle inventory videos to our own TikTok account. The integration stores OAuth credentials encrypted at rest, used solely to publish LotPilot-owned content. We do not access third-party TikTok user data, do not store TikTok user information, and do not share any TikTok data with third parties. Access tokens are revocable at any time through TikTok account settings.
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to:
